Senior Urban Designer - Architecture & Planning

Job Descriptions:

Handle the conceptualization, design, and development of urban planning projects, from master plans to detailed design.
Oversee and manage multiple urban design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Coordinate with clients, architects, landscape architects, planners, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive project execution.
Facilitate and lead community outreach and engagement processes, incorporating public feedback into design solutions.
Present urban design proposals and plans to clients, public officials, and community groups.
Prepare high-quality urban design documentation, including conceptual plans, renderings, diagrams, and technical drawings.
Present and defend design concepts to internal teams, clients, and regulatory boards in a clear and compelling manner.
Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams, ensuring integration of urban design, architecture, landscape design, and transportation planning.
Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in urban design, planning, and development.
Ensure that designs comply with local zoning regulations, building codes, environmental requirements, and other legal frameworks.
Coordinate with government agencies and regulatory authorities throughout the design approval process.
Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and urban research to inform the design process.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored urban design solutions.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the design and development phases.

Job Requirements:

Master's degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Urban Design/Master Planning of various types, scales, and scopes of projects.
Experienced in leading teams for Urban Design/Master Planning project execution.
Critical thinking and initiatives to contribute to fast-paced design processes.
Quick learner, agile, & adaptive team player.
Good command of English.
Proficiency/understanding of common software for architecture/master planning works (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Rhino, Grasshopper, Office).
