Senior Sales Engineer (Bekasi Based) - Industrial Equipment

We are looking for a high-performing Senior External Sales Engineer to lead business expansion and manage technical sales for the industrial sector. This role is designed for a results-driven professional who excels at "hunting" new business and maintaining high-level technical relationships. Working closely with the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, streamlining the sales process, and delivering customized automation solutions to a diverse client base. The ideal candidate will have a strong existing network and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts into actionable business proposals.

Job Description:
- Business Development: Actively prospect and generate new leads to expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong rapport with existing clients to ensure long-term loyalty and satisfaction.
- Technical Sales Presentations: Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase product offerings and the company’s technical capabilities.
- Solution Engineering: Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical support and deliver tailored proposals and quotations in a timely manner.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify emerging business opportunities.
- Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed sales objectives and KPIs set by the management team.
- Brand Representation: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand awareness and networking.
- Executive Support: Assist the Sales and Operations Directors with strategic requirements and other business-related tasks.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 – 8 years of relevant sales experience, with direct expertise in valves and related industrial equipment.
- Network: Must possess a strong existing client base within the industrial sector.
- Communication: Excellent proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both written and spoken).
- Technical Aptitude: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively and simply to various stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
- Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and/or CRM software.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
