Sales Manager / Engineer (Valve Supplier Industry) - Jakarta & Medan Based
Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with Valve Supplier Company, who are looking for talent for their Sales Manager / Engineer. This position will be responsible for Proactively seek and develop new business opportunities and revenue streams for the assigned market, identifying and engaging potential clients and opportunities.

Job Description:
- Identify and develop new clients and business opportunities within target industries.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, field visits, and digital outreach.Lead the entire sales cycle, including inquiry handling, proposal drafting, quotation, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop customized solutions based on client needs and technical requirements.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and technical teams at client sites.
- Provide excellent pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction.
- Understand valve specifications, flow control systems, and related equipment.
- Work closely with technical teams to recommend the best-fit products and solutions.
- Track and report sales activities, client interactions, and market insights to the Director.
- Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, engineering, finance) to support client needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the valve, pump, or instrumentation industries.
- Prior experience in industrial sales or project-based B2B selling is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of technical drawings, P&IDs, and basic mechanical flow principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and preferably English.
- Proven ability to handle negotiations, build client rapport, and close deals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM tools is a plus.
- Able to work under pressure, independently or as part of a team, and manage multiple priorities.
- Ownership mindset, target-oriented, and proactive in driving results.
