Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with Logistics & Freight Forwarding Company, who are looking for talent for their Sales Manager Cargo This position will be responsible for drive revenue growth and manage client relationships in the logistics and freight forwarding sector. This role involves full-cycle sales management, from identifying new business opportunities to pricing strategy, customer handling, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure operational excellence.

Job Description:
- Lead the end-to-end cycle of sales activities to acquire and retain clients.
- Identify cargo demand opportunities in both B2B and B2C markets.
- Generate new leads, secure accounts, and expand customer base.
- Collaborate with the operations team to manage and monitor ongoing shipments.
- Calculate Gross Profit Margin (GPM), set strategic pricing, and coordinate internal pricing discussions.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and client acquisition goals.
- Prepare and submit detailed sales performance reports to management.
- Develop sales strategies and conduct presentations to potential clients.
- Coordinate with internal departments to assess and refine sales opportunities and strategy.
- Negotiate with vendors to fulfill client logistics and cargo requirements.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Proactively follow up on active orders, both independently and with team support.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and practices in the logistics and cargo industry.
- Uphold a professional and positive company image in front of clients and the public.
Job Description:
- 3–5 years of proven experience in sales within the logistics, cargo, or freight forwarding industry.
- Well-presented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and client management abilities.
- Experienced in managing one-stop logistics solutions (warehouse, trucking, sea freight, air freight).
- Has a loyal client base and repeat-order customer list ready to be re-engaged.
- Skilled in GPM analysis, strategic pricing, and sales forecasting.
- Able to communicate professionally and represent the company with confidence.
- Able to work independently or in a team to meet and exceed targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
