Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with a dynamic Retail Beauty and Shapewear Company in Jakarta, who are looking for talent for R&D Fashion. This role will be responsible for translating fashion trends and market needs into innovative product designs and material developments. This role plays a critical part in the pre-production phase, ensuring that every new concept is not only aesthetically pleasing but also technically feasible for mass production. The position requires a creative individual with a strong foundation in textile engineering or fashion design who is eager to push the boundaries of shapewear and apparel innovation.

Job Description:
- Trend & Market Research: Actively conduct research on global fashion trends, emerging silhouettes, and evolving market needs to inform new collections
- Design & Material Innovation: Develop original designs and source/develop new materials that align with the brand's quality and functionality standards.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Design and Production teams to ensure a seamless transition from concept to sample.
- Feasibility Testing: Perform rigorous testing on material durability, stretchability (for shapewear), and design feasibility before moving into large-scale mass production.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma Degree majoring in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- Highly creative, innovative, and deeply passionate about the fashion and garment industry.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Fashion Research & Development (R&D) is preferred, but fresh graduates with strong portfolios are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of garment construction and textile characteristics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment in Jakarta.
