Project Engineer (Jakarta Based) - High-Performance Kitchen Ventilation Systems
Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with High-Performance Kitchen Ventilation Systems Company, who are looking for talent for their Project Engineer. This position will be responsible for Coordinate with project coordinators and sales engineers for submission of drawings/catalogs to consultants for approval, and will be reporting to Head of Representative.

Job Description:
- Assist in on-site inspections, coordination, testing & commissioning, and reporting.
- Coordinate with project coordinators and sales engineers for submission of drawings/catalogs to consultants for approval.
- Collaborate with CS, sales, and production teams for hood fabrication and delivery.
- Support and supervise on-site installation projects under Halton's scope.
- Review HVAC kitchen designs.
- Liaise with the ISM team when their assistance is required.
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects.
- Calculate ductwork and select appropriate exhaust and fresh air fans.
- Monitor work progress and prepare weekly project status reports.
- Review engineering deliverables and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
- Contribute to the overall team success by accomplishing related tasks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
- 0–3 years of professional experience in project engineering, HVAC, or mechanical systems.
- Fresh graduates with strong academic and practical project experience are welcome to apply.
- Proficient in AutoCAD for drawing review and adjustment.
- Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
- Basic understanding of ventilation and HVAC systems, ducting design, and airflow calculation.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical & architectural drawings.
- Capability to calculate and select appropriate fans for exhaust and fresh air systems.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Comfortable presenting and explaining technical information to non-technical parties.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work independently under minimum supervision.
- Strong project coordination skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism and integrity in handling confidential and project-related matters.
- Willingness to travel domestically, primarily between Jakarta and Bali.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have own vehicle.
- Ability to work in the field and on-site when required.
