Production Shift Leader (Karawang Based) - Chemical Manufacture Industry
Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with a leading Chemical Manufacture company in Karawang, who are looking for talent for Production Shift Leader. This role will be responsible for leading shift operations to ensure high-quality production of ACH and PAC while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. This role plays a critical part in maximizing productivity, supervising product dispatch, and troubleshooting technical equipment or process issues. The position requires a Chemical Engineering professional with deep technical knowledge of DCS systems, SAP, and a proven ability to lead a team in a high-compliance chemical manufacturing environment.
Job Description:
- Operational Leadership: Organize tasks and staff breaks to maximize shift productivity and maintain a continuous production flow.
- Production Monitoring: Oversee the ACH and PAC production lines for efficiency and quality, utilizing DCS systems to monitor and control processes.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure full team compliance with safety guidelines, chemical handling protocols, and established SOPs.
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks to ensure all products meet strict technical specifications before movement.
- Dispatch & Logistics: Supervise accurate product filling, labeling, and packaging; coordinate with logistics for timely shipment and smooth transfer of finished goods.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Collaborate with operators and maintenance teams to resolve equipment failures or process bottlenecks quickly.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure constant material availability.
- Waste & Environment: Manage chemical waste disposal during cleaning processes in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Team Development: Train new operators on production procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in chemical production or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Solid experience in using DCS (Distributed Control System).
- Proficient in operating SAP systems for production and inventory management.
- Strong technical knowledge of ACH (Aluminum Chlorohydrate) and PAC (Polyaluminum Chloride) production processes.
- Excellent leadership, time management, and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of safety protocols and proper chemical handling.
- Willing to work on a shift schedule in Karawang, West Java.
