This role manages import-export operations, contract negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives, while collaborating with internal teams to optimize the supply chain and resource availability. The ideal candidate will ensure regulatory compliance and drive efficiency in procurement strategies to support business growth.

Job Description:
- Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from sourcing to supplier management, ensuring the purchase of goods and services is both cost effective and of the highest quality.
- Regularly review and assess procurement strategies to improve processes and drive efficiency.
- Manage all aspects of import-export operations, including the preparation of documentation, customs clearance, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and international trade laws.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and shipping agents to ensure smooth transportation and timely delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both local and overseas suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, consistent quality, and compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
- Regularly evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contract terms to secure favorable pricing, reduce costs, and ensure the quality of raw materials.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals and cost savings.
- Continuously evaluate and drive initiatives that help to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency
- Work closely with internal departments such as production, logistics, finance, and quality control to ensure a smooth and efficient supply chain.
- Coordinate with production teams to forecast raw material needs and ensure timely availability of resources.
- Ensure that all procurement processes comply with legal, regulatory, and industry standards, including safety, quality, and sustainability requirements.
- Monitor changes in import/export regulations and supply chain policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on raw materials and the flavor and perfume industry or a similar sector.
- Strong understanding of the raw materials used in the flavor and perfume industry, including essential oils, extracts, and other key ingredients.
- Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost control.
- Advanced proficiency in procurement software (ERP, SAP) and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience in export-import operations, including documentation, customs, and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex supply chain challenges.
- Attention to detail and a strategic approach to procurement.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive, result-driven, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in English; Mandarin is a plus.
