Offline Distribution Lead (Jakarta Based) - Retail Beauty & Shapewear Industry
Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with a fast-growing Retail Beauty and Shapewear Company, who are looking for talent for Offline Distribution Lead. This role will be responsible for building the company’s offline presence from the ground up, covering Modern Trade, General Trade, and agent/reseller networks. This role plays a critical part in designing the pricing architecture, securing strategic shelf space, and establishing the operational systems required for national scale. The position requires a seasoned sales professional with a deep network in the Indonesian trade landscape and a proven ability to transition a D2C brand into the physical retail market.

Job Description:
- Strategy From Scratch: Build and execute the company’s comprehensive offline distribution strategy for Modern Trade (MT), General Trade (GT), and reseller networks.
- Partnership Acquisition: Identify, negotiate, and sign distributor partnerships across Jabodetabek and strategic Tier 2/3 cities (Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, and Makassar).
- Retailer Management: Secure shelf space and negotiate favorable commercial terms, including both "beli putus" and consignment models.
- Pricing Architecture: Design and implement offline pricing structures, including margin stacking from brand level down to the end consumer.
- Reseller Program: Build and manage a structured reseller/agent program featuring tiered pricing and territory management.
- System Design: Develop operational systems for inventory tracking, sell-through reporting, payment reconciliation, and stock management.
- Reporting: Report directly to the Founder/CEO with detailed weekly and monthly distribution KPIs and market insights.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in offline sales and distribution in Indonesia.
- Mandatory experience in the fashion, apparel, or intimate wear industry, with a deep understanding of sizing, visual merchandising, and return management.
- Strong background in FMCG distribution infrastructure (GT/MT channels and distributor management).
- Proven track record of building offline presence for D2C or e-commerce-first brands.
- Existing network of distributor and retailer relationships in Jabodetabek (critical requirement).
- Expert understanding of Indonesian trade dynamics, distributor margins, and trade terms.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working independently in a lean startup environment.
- Native in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is preferred.
