Junior IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer (Karawang Based) – Semiconductor Manufacturing Industry
Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with a leading semiconductor manufacturing enterprise in Indonesia, who are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT/OT Infrastructure Engineer. Designed as an entry-level opportunity, this role is fully responsible for supporting day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, user helpdesk activities, IT/OT asset management, cybersecurity documentation, and audit readiness within a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. The position offers an exceptional launching pad for fresh graduates eager to build hands-on technical capabilities across corporate networks, industrial operational technology (OT), and cybersecurity compliance.
Responsibilities:
Helpdesk & User Support: Provide Level 1 technical support for hardware, software, network connectivity, printers, and account access; troubleshoot desktops, laptops, peripherals, and Microsoft 365 issues; assist in device deployment and hardware setup.
IT/OT Infrastructure Support: Maintain accurate IT and OT asset inventories within the CMDB (including hostnames, OS/software details, IP addresses, asset owners, and physical locations); support infrastructure cabling, labeling, and tagging.
Project Deployment Execution: Support infrastructure rollout initiatives and deployment readiness activities, maintaining installation checklists, setup documentation, and system verification reports.
IT/OT Segregation & Network Support: Assist in maintaining network architecture documentation, including VLAN mapping, network switch setups, firewall configurations, and operational connectivity diagrams.
Cybersecurity & Audit Compliance: Support asset visibility programs, endpoint inventory tracking, and compliance evidence collection for internal and external quality/cybersecurity audits.
Technical Documentation & Reporting: Update technical project trackers, asset repositories, and regular status reports for management review.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Fresh Graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Basic understanding of fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, VLAN, Subnetting, DNS).
Familiarity with Windows Client OS, Active Directory basics, and Microsoft 365 suite.
Solid fundamental hardware and software troubleshooting skills with a strong interest in networking, cybersecurity, and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
Strong logical problem-solving, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a high-tech cleanroom/manufacturing facility.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia for technical documentation and end-user support.
Willing to work in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing plant environment (including shift rotations/overtime when operationally required).
