This role will be responsible for leading the 24/7 Operation Center team, ensuring the stability and performance of critical production systems through strategic monitoring and incident management. This role plays a critical part in event management evolution, alarm governance, and serving as the central commander during major IT incidents. The position requires a seasoned IT professional with over 10 years of experience, a deep mastery of ITIL frameworks, and a proven ability to mentor teams in high-pressure, multi-site infrastructure environments.

Job Description:
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, develop, and manage schedules for Operation Center agents, ensuring 24/7 coverage, setting performance objectives, and acting as the primary escalation point.
- Strategic Event Management: Lead the optimization of monitoring strategies and tools to enhance predictive capabilities and maintain real-time visibility across all production systems.
- Incident & Problem Command: Direct the response to major incidents as the central commander for senior leadership. Drive the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) process and translate findings into preventative measures.
- Alarm & Change Governance: Spearhead alarm governance to reduce false positives and collaborate with change management teams to oversee the impact of IT landscape modifications.
- Operational Excellence: Champion the creation of comprehensive runbooks and SOPs. Directly account for the lifecycle of incidents and problems within defined SLAs.
- Facility & Batch Oversight: Oversee the execution of production batch jobs and ensure optimal environmental conditions for data center facilities and IT equipment.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships and escalations with third-party providers and collaborate with project teams to implement monitoring for new systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent IT-related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of I&T support experience with a clear progression into complex responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience in a medium to large-sized corporate I&T environment with a deep understanding of ITIL frameworks and operations best practices.
- Proven track record in a lead or senior role, mentoring junior members and driving operational improvements.
- Extensive exposure to managing and monitoring complex multi-site infrastructure and network environments.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to maintain composure during high-pressure system outages.
- Excellent communication skills to provide concise trend analysis and reports to I&T leadership.
