HR Executive - Payroll & Shared Services (APAC Region)

Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with a global leader in advanced technology solutions (Aerospace, Cybersecurity, and Digital Identity), who are looking for talent for HR Executive - Payroll & Shared Services. This role will be responsible for supporting payroll operations and HR administration across Asia entities within a fast-paced shared services environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring payroll accuracy, statutory compliance, and a seamless employee experience through effective collaboration with regional HR and Finance teams. The position requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive knowledge of Asian employment laws and proficiency in payroll systems like Workday or Times Payroll.

Job Description:

  • Payroll Administration: Manage end-to-end payroll processing for assigned Asia entities, including tax filings and all statutory contributions.
  • Compensation Support: Support annual salary reviews and bonus cycles, including the preparation of sensitive employee communications.
  • HRIS & Data Management: Maintain and update HR systems (Workday/Times), payroll records, and databases to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Reporting & Surveys: Assist in internal and external reporting, including statutory audits and regional compensation surveys.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits, leave management, and claims (Maternity, Paternity, Flexible Benefits, etc.).
  • Offboarding Management: Handle all offboarding documentation, employment certifications, and resignation formalities for leaving employees.
  • Regional Projects: Support regional HRIS initiatives and participate in continuous improvement projects to streamline shared services processes.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll processing and HR shared services.
  • Proficiency in Times Payroll Software and/or Workday is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Asia employment laws and regional statutory requirements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI is a significant advantage.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing global environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a focus on delivering an excellent employee experience.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus to support regional stakeholders.
