Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) Supervisor (Jakarta Based) – FMCG & Online Retail Indus
Talent Hunts Indonesia is an Executive Search Agency based in Jakarta, currently working with a growing FMCG and online retail business, who are looking for a hands-on and analytical Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) Supervisor. Based in Pluit, North Jakarta, this role is fully responsible for managing the end-to-end accounting cycle, corporate tax compliance, e-commerce marketplace reconciliations, and inventory controls. The ideal candidate will combine a strong technical foundation in PSAK and Brevet A & B with practical experience in e-commerce financial operations (Shopee and TikTok Shop), bridging granular accounting data with strategic financial insights directly for executive management.
Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations & Financial Closing: Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping using Accurate software; manage timely month-end/year-end closing procedures under PSAK; prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
E-Commerce & Retail Settlements: Execute complex financial reconciliations and settlements across major e-commerce platforms (Shopee, TikTok Shop) and offline retail/distribution channels.
Tax Governance & Compliance: Direct tax calculations, monthly/annual filings (SPT Masa & Badan), and payments for Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and Withholding Taxes (PPh 21/23/26); manage tax reconciliations and liaise with external tax consultants.
Finance & Cash Flow Management: Supervise daily AP/AR workflows, bank reconciliations, and cash disbursements; prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor working capital positions.
Inventory Control & Stock Accounting: Conduct routine stock takes, inventory valuation, and variance audits; collaborate with warehouse operations to investigate stock shrinkage and discrepancies.
Strategic Financial Advisory: Deliver profitability, cash flow, and cost control analysis to the Director; propose enhancements to internal financial SOPs and bridge accounting data with business growth decisions.
Team Leadership & Quality Control: Lead, mentor, and review the daily work output of a finance and accounting team (3–5 members).
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting, and Tax, with at least 2 years serving in a supervisory capacity directly managing closing and tax reporting.
Mandatory Technical Certification: Must hold a valid Brevet A & B certification.
Industry Preference: Solid experience working within the FMCG or Online Retail / E-Commerce sector (Shopee / TikTok Shop) is highly preferred.
Deep knowledge of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK), corporate tax laws, and direct experience working alongside external tax consultants.
Advanced proficiency in Accurate Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, financial modeling); familiarity with Jubelio or stock management systems and import accounting is a plus.
Strong leadership, strategic problem-solving capabilities, and a willingness to handle operational execution.
Willing to work on-site at Pluit, North Jakarta.
