This role will be responsible for the end-to-end product lifecycle, from data-driven ideation and tech pack creation to supplier negotiation and inbound quality control. This role plays a critical part in bridging the gap between creative design and commercial viability, ensuring all products—including shapewear, intimates, and premium basics—meet strict margin and quality targets. The position requires a technically proficient professional with deep knowledge of garment construction, fabric engineering (compression/NILIT-grade yarns), and a strong commercial mindset.

Job Description:
- Product Research & Ideation: Analyze sales data from marketplaces (Shopee/TikTok), customer reviews, and competitor trends to develop commercially biased product briefs for shapewear and basic fashion lines.
- Product Creation & Development: Execute full development from tech pack creation and fabric sourcing to sampling and fit sessions. Communicate technical specs (compression levels, bonding vs. stitching) directly to factories.
- Sourcing & Material Management: Source fabrics and raw materials by visiting textile markets in Jakarta and Bandung; evaluate quality, price suitability, and technical feasibility.
- Testing & Iteration: Coordinate fit and wear testing with internal panelists, compile structured feedback via scorecards, and refine samples until quality and price targets are met.
- Negotiation & Cost Control: Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and lead times with local suppliers. Maintain detailed cost sheets (BOM) for every SKU to manage COGS and margin thresholds.
- Supply Chain & QC Support: Assist the Supply Chain Manager in tracking production timelines and lead times. Conduct inbound QC inspections against approved gold samples and technical specs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in product development, sourcing, or merchandising within fashion, intimates, shapewear, or activewear.
- Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, fabric types (nylon, spandex, power mesh), and compression engineering.
- Proven ability to write and review Tech Packs and communicate technical terminology to factories.
- Commercial acumen: ability to read sell-through data and understand e-commerce metrics (conversion rate, return rate by SKU).
- Experience negotiating with local garment suppliers regarding price, MOQ, and quality standards.
- Background in Fashion Design or Textile Engineering (formal education or practical equivalent).
- Proficiency in spreadsheets for cost tracking and product comparison matrices.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia; conversational English is a plus.
- Willing to perform periodic travel to textile markets/factories in Jakarta and Bandung.
