We are looking for a technical and strategic Assistant Production Manager to strengthen their production leadership team. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence within the manufacturing plant, focusing on production cost optimization, capacity utilization, and the implementation of rigorous safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in chemical processes, particularly with Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and a proven track record in leading continuous improvement initiatives like Lean Manufacturing and 6S to ensure a high-productivity, zero-accident environment.

Job Description:
- Production Cost Optimization: Lead the effective management of resources, including equipment and manpower, to achieve optimum production costs and operational efficiency.
- Manpower Optimization: Strategize and optimize manpower requirements to balance high productivity with cost-effective staffing.
- Capacity Utilization: Analyze and balance production capacity against market demand, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve total output.
- Safety Implementation: Ensure all productivity targets are met with a ZERO accident goal by maintaining a strictly safe workplace and environment.
- Project Management: Oversee project investments, ensuring all production-related projects meet timeline targets and stay within budget.
- Quality Management System (QMS): Coordinate, adhere to, and continuously improve the implementation of QMS within all production areas.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of excellence by leading initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5 – 10 years of experience in the Production field, with a strong preference for candidates from the Water Treatment Chemical sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in DCS (Distributed Control System) operations and familiar with Chemical Manufacturing Processes and Plant Equipment.
- Core Competencies: Strong leadership, problem-solving, project management, and high personal efficiency.\
- Knowledge: Expertise in Risk Management, Data Analysis, Organizational Efficiency, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Location: Based in or willing to work in Karawang.
