Associate Business Development Director
Overall job purpose:
The objective of the Associate Business Development Director is to acquire new business thru the application of effective sales techniques. He or she is expected to develop and sustain awareness regarding the company’s products and services, as well as negotiate and close business contracts.
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Contributes to the company’s sales growth expectations
- Contributes to the overall achievement of departmental goals and company objectives
- Maintains high standards in terms of personal sales discipline, work ethic, and professionalism
- Ensures compliance with Isentia policies and standards, and ensures compliance will all local statutory requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Education: Degree in media, communications, advertising, marketing or business or 5+ years in a similar role
- Business Skills: Must have at least 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment; a positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities.
- Industry experience: Corporate sales experience and knowledge of the market, current media issues, competitor behavior, and strategy. Exposure to the PR and Advertising industries is deemed desirable.
- Management skills: Experience in dealing with a range of senior stakeholders and can demonstrate that they have been an effective member of a team.
- Personal qualities: Proven capability in hands-on problem solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions; self-motivated and results driven; a genuine interest in mass information and current events; excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to work under pressure. Eager, tenacious, articulate, diplomatic, high energy, competitive and driven.
- Technology skills: Good Microsoft office suite competence, and an understanding of various social media platforms.
- Language skills: Excellent written and verbal English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and with external parties to Senior Executive levels.
